You only need to keep an eye out for sales and to pay attention to advertisements in magazines, newspaper, store flyers, etc. Sometimes you can get sunglasses for a discounted price by buying replicas or fakes. Of course you are not getting the brand version of the glasses, but in many cases they are basically the same exact product as the real ones. (Continue reading…)

My Favorite Mini Muffins Pans
Filed under: Cooking, Food & Wine

I have always enjoying cooking, dating back to the time when I was a little girl in the kitchen with my grandmother. She was a wonderful cook and I loved spending time with her. Her house always smelled wonderful, filled with the aromas of her scrumptious meals and baked goodies.  Her baked goods always came out perfectly – cookies evenly browned and golden, never too dark. She made wonderful cream-puffs that I wish I had gotten the recipe for long ago. I do a good share of baking myself, though I don’t think I’m nearly as good at it as she was. My kids like to help in the kitchen and I think that’s the most important thing.  Their favorite things to make are muffins and cupcakes and we use our Kaiser Bakeware La Forme Mini-Muffin Pans constantly. 3 Ways to Better Eating
Filed under: Health & Fitness

Everyone is looking for new and improved ways to eat and live better. Most times, when you read up on healthy eating, you are given a long list of things to do that is both overwhelming and time consuming. So with that in mind, the following are 3 things that anyone can do to eat better, live better, and be healthier overall. First and foremost, add water to your daily diet. Stop drinking anything other than water, except for beverages that are 100% fruit or vegetable juice, and milk. If it isn’t one of those 3, a 100% juice, milk, or water, don’t drink it! Everything else, with the exception of tea sweetened with honey, has lots of processed sugars and will add unnecessary weight to your body in the form of empty calories. So just drink water and lots of it. Secondly, stop eating after 6:00 pm. The later you eat, the less time you have to burn the calories off so eat your last meal of the day around 6:00pm. If you absolutely must have something later, try yogurt, fruit, or a raw vegetable. Finally get a meal replacement program like Medifast. (Continue reading…)
