It is a rare treat for us when we get to enjoy breakfast or a leisurely brunch in a restaurant. Actually most of the time it is because we are traveling for business and we usually end up having a continental breakfast in the hotel. But occasionally we’re lucky to enjoy a delicious brunch at a nice restaurant and it’s always a wonderful treat. One of my personal favorites is Belgian Waffles topped with strawberry sauce and fresh whipped cream. I guess it’s obvious how much I enjoy them because my family gave me a great Belgian Waffle Maker for my birthday.

There is nothing like the taste of these wonderful, thick waffles fresh off of the hot waffle griddle.  We all enjoy them for breakfast, lunch and snacks too. Treating myself to these tasty waffles always makes it feel like a special day. The maker is a sturdy machine made by Black & Decker, with nonstick cooking surfaces making clean-up a breeze. It has an attractive chrome exterior that is easy to wipe clean and cool touch handles so I don’t have to worry about the kids accidentally touching it. Now this Black & Decker Waffle Machine is one of my all-time favorite birthday presents.
