Weight Training For Young And Old

Simply put weight training will build muscles and your strength up. Depending on how often you work with weights and the ideal muscle size you want to be, weight training provides the muscle fitness that improves your overall muscle tone, give you added stamina and endurance and fights off old age. And as we age, muscles will begin to sag. Without a weight training program you’ll head down the road looking frail and weak. But it doesn’t have to be like that and it doesn’t take much to get your body to respond well to weight training.

Weight training is nothing more than using weights for resistance. You are educating your muscles to deal with the stress of added weight during exercise. Soon as you develop muscle strength your muscle memory kicks in making you perform the exercises correctly. If you are new to all of this make sure to seek the advise of a personal trainer. Knowing the proper technique when executing exercises is paramount to getting the best results. And by all means start slow. Rome wasn’t built in a day and your new body won’t be either. Keep it real. Try not to push too hard. You don’t want to injury yourself and get a set back.
